fair point. however one can only speculate. If he charged 100 and it made absolutely no difference, and the outcome was it required a new engine costing @100k the reasoning is the same. the knowledge. Cost. Years of life spent studying, training. Same for all industries.
not at all. Its a good thing... If I genuinely wanted this, collector or otherwise I'd have bought it. Cost wouldn't come into it. My point being - many folk are putting their money elsewhere. Irrespective of their knowledge. Some with more money than grey matter
investment. probably no interest or even knowledge of what they have brought. If their is interest / demand / publicity it will woo the money men, regardless of the item
Can't bring myself to scrap it though... Not used for 5 years at least. Used to use it behind a Major on play days... the combination of driving and operating a Major and that plough is enough to put you off for life!!
Off on a tangent here but... I had the same problem years ago with a pm plough. Always wandered towards unploughed land! Epic bodies, with a slight twist in the leg. Unnoticeable to look at, but out when checked with a straight edge did not run parallel.
Unbeknown to me at the time though...
