The value of investments can go down as well as up and you may get back less than your original investment.
This is the caveat on all stock market investments.
The main difference between a pension and isa is that the pension gets tax relief when you pay in BUT it is taxed when you take it...
I imagine there will be another deduction off payments of £x/t to pay the software supplier for the system as I can’t imagine the grain buyers or merchants paying for it themselves
Judging the effectiveness of the environment agency in keeping rivers clear in England I’d assume it is no longer in effect as the excuse not to do anything is usually that they aren’t allowed to disturb the wildlife!
Sorry to hear of your situation, it must be a big worry.
I think if you were to ask the landowner to do work on their land I’d be inclined to offer to pay for all the work as the benefit to you will far outweigh the benefit to them and would effectively compensate them for any inconvenience to them.
Also your children/grandchildren will suffer/die. I think it’s rather like the church used to threaten people with purgatory after death before they got to heaven, but give them some money now and they can cut out the purgatory.
Only now it’s politicians taxing us “to save the planet”
Cost of production probably less than £50k, so there’s a very long way they could drop if they wanted too. Look at all the dealers new workshops and showrooms, plus they’re paying the salesmen huge commissions on sales. It’s crazy that people have willingly been paying £300k for a new tractor...
Castle Water had us on Direct Debit and after a leak had us on monthly payments of around £1000 for an annual bill that didn’t used to be much more than £1000. Tried to get them to sort out their errors but they wouldn’t listen. Stopped the DD and after a couple of years managed to get a refund...
Here’s looking into my crystal ball what the future holds for us:
1. Politicians and environmentalists ban the use of soil for production of food to save the planet and continue to fly planes round the world to go on holiday.
2. Society breaks down due to global starvation, revolutions break...
Got into tractor this morning and when I put the lights on the hazard lights came on too.
Has anyone had this before?
Light switch and hazard switch are next to each other so maybe a wire shorting?
Any suggestions would be appreciated before I start taking the dash apart.
TIA
Yes you do need internet in the office but if you’ve an outlying grain store and need to make a digital passport for an unexpected haulier, coming late afternoon when you were expecting them the next morning?
All machinery prices have gone crazy these last few years with their annual price increases and seem to think like the fertiliser manufacturers that if they artificially limit supplies that they can keep the price artificially high.
All good as a business model when farmers are getting £££££ in...
It depends whether the price is going up or going down. At todays prices for bulk deliveries it’s about 15-18p cheaper than any forecourt prices I’ve seen recently so there’s a long way to go before it will be cheaper at the pumps.
Just swapped from O2 because the signal had got too bad - had to resort to running around outside to find a signal to get two factor authentication codes! Now with EE which so far is better as have signal in the house but I’m still missing incoming calls.
