I had it happen once that year, I forget if it happened again a year later, because it wasn't a big deal then since I just checked one of the fuses and that fixed it. So it pretty much seemed like a once or twice a lifetime thing here. When it did happen, there was no warning. The tractor was...
Hi, I had that error code while silaging. The tractor wouldn't move. One tractor dealer said there was nothing I could do but bring it in to have lap top hooked up. So I tried another dealer. They told me to look at fuses F4, F18, F29. I forget which one I replaced, but that fixed it.
I right away thought it was just one injector i had to replace. Put everything together. I was happy it was just one! Then I showed this to a friend from church who is a mechanic for john deere. Said its possible that the leak is happening where high pressure fuel line is entering injector...
What you are writing makes sense, we have done our homework and its starting to point to some injector problems. I think I will do a leak test.
Thanks for the posts. I was hoping it would be something easy like seeing that piece of wire in the valve like leonb was showing us :)
I replaced the valve with cleaned one, error code still appears about 15min in.
Does the code appear right away for you guys or when the tractor warms up? I live in Manitoba Canada, they change to winter fuel in september or so till march april.
Thanks Glaws, you seem to be pretty confident in the relief valve, so the code pops up when it senses a low pressure, or high pressure, or does it pop up whenever it is out off range? What about connections or wiring like what Mursal was saying? I have never replaced it myself, and it looks like...
It was exciting to read that it could be just the relief valve, even though I have had it replaced. But what could possibly contaminate the valve again? Unless something is wearing out with pressure pump. I will definitely look at it again, but I am no mechanic, do I need to worry about it being...
I have the 9150 code since I remember, its getting worse. Happens only in winter time, it used to happen below -20C but now it does it when warmer, +5C. It used to happen under load, but always after engine warms up. Had it to dealer and they scratch their heads. Looking at injectors again...
