There’s a bloke in the village regularity posting pictures of the village from a drone which sometimes includes our farm. Is there any privacy law? Or do I have to get the kids out on the lawn in a paddling pool ?
Ok
How about joining your local young farmers club I know we’re in lockdown but our lot are having zoom meetings so still active
If you get to know and become friends with the local young farmers there may be a job opportunity there
then look at the agricultural colleges and get some...

Stick an advert in one of the large circulation farming / landowner magazines
Such as CLA
Or NFU or Farmers Weekly
then interested parties will contact you

Well I am a bit old fashioned and do still spend cash, I still sometimes write cheques and I won’t have online banking on my phone
Although online banking on the computer is very useful admittedly
And Lockdown has increased my debit/credit card wireless “Beep Beep “ spend
Lol
If this Covid goes on for years with cycles of lockdown, vaccination, new variant, lockdown etc and the Govt keeps shelling money out
at what point would U.K. become Bankrupt
And if that point was reached what happens then ???
I’m planning on going 50% first wheat and 50% something else... non cash crop... I was thinking of just leaving stubble and perhaps subsoiling and preparing land early ( July) so it’s ready to drill at optimum time

Been sat in the shed since
And probably won’t need half of it this year
Boo bloody hoo
Get an Agent on it
The utility company will pay the agent fee
And you get compo for loads of stuff that you haven’t thought of
we have main water gas electric and sewage across our land to supply a major industrial area
I always think the utilities pay better per Sq m than farming it
I rang warrens and asked if they would collect a dead rat. One they’d stopped laughing they said they would. And that they collect dead rats from the council
so my policy is if ever we find a dead rat we double bag it and ring warrens
