Morning,
It’s finally time to change our old greenlands rf120 and we’ve been offered a 2013 case RB344 done 30,000 bales from a local dealer. What’s everyone’s experiences with them? First time we’ve ever had such a new baler so looking at how people have got on with them do they make a good...
So the scanner asked us when we chucked the rams in and then set the scanning date according to that which was about 70 days. It’s his second year and he said he scans 20,000 plus sheep a year so I would hope after that he’d be fairly good plus the cost of the equipment he was exposing. I’d...
So this is the first year we’ve ever scanned our sheep and so far the accuracy isn’t what I would call acceptable. I’ve lambed 19 sheep out of 150 and so far the scanner we’ve used has gotten 5 wrong. I could be wrong and it could just be these first few but the way it’s going I can’t see it...
Looking to get a set of sheep shears for tailing and maggots. I’ve tried the Horner shearing zipper 2 and it was sh!t blew up after a few tailing a few lambs managed to get it rebuilt under warranty and then it did the same again so not interested in anything from them. Is there any other brands...
Anyone braking a lely optimo 240c mines a 1995 model. Looking for 3 skids local dealer recons they aren’t available anymore? Have attached a picture of the ones I’m looking for.
The clutch pedal is fine no stiff ness when pressing and never had to adjust it for free or play. To be honest I don’t have anything that heavy to pick up with the linkage the heaviest thing I have would be my plough 4 furrow reversible which is currently attached to my other tractor. The dual...
Had to move my tw35 to put away for winter and on putting into gear and realising the clutch it tried to pull away then hesitated and didn’t move dipped the clutch and realised it again and it pulled away. Decided to take it for a spin down the road put it into 4th and put the dual power into...
So picked up a really cheap Massey 135 as a winter project. The front of the bonnet is all dented up but apart from that is usable.
is the able to be beaten out and if so what pannel beating tools will I need? Or just cut my losses and find a better second hand one.
Currently painting up a link box and would like to paint it grey to Match a Massey 35, but I’m not sure what shade of grey it should be. It’s a 1963 35x any help would be appreciated
cheers.
@davidroberts30 just wonder what diameter discs your running?
We have a tsr300 with 14 inch discs and it doesn’t seem to cut well, as there always scuffing the ground where it bolts on and not going deep enough to leave a tidy edge on the rear furrow.
The 14inch ones seem to small and looking...
Sorry to dig up this thread but when you removed the unit did you do it without splitting the tractor? Also can they be re sealed or is it a brand new steering unit?
Bit of ploughing from the other weekend. 4 furrow ransoms tsr300 need a few extra weights on the front In the hills as the front didn’t quite have enough grip when turning
Evening. Does anyone know what colour wires do what on the rear lights for a ford 7810. I’ve just bought new rear lights but the wires on the tractor are different to the ones I’ve bought.
Cheers Tom.
Looking at a tractor at the moment and the hours clock is showing 1887 Im guessing it’s gone around the clock so the hours would be 11887 is that correct? Apart from the hours the tractor is in really good condition.
