My idea would be to give 50 kg injected and then come back with 15 kg foliar per pass hoping not having to go to 170 if foliar proves more efficient..

At what stage would it be sensible to start with foliar, do you think?

Would it be possible to use only foliar in order to make the most of expensive nitrogen? As I understand it is way more efficient but is it possible supply all this way? Looking to apply 170 kg N/ha. Thanks

I would guess no since we see it in other fields too where it makes no sense to plow E/W as the lines go.

Last plowed ’97. Dd since ’08 ’Everything’ done left to right in picture, tiles as well. We get these lines on most fields. Does not show in the crop though.

What causes the lines in the field? Direction of travel is left to right in the picture. My guess magnetism? Lines are due E/W. Thanks

Here I would stitch it in between the rows of rye in the spring so it can grow some ones the rye is off. I would also bale the rye.

On third rye crop with clover in the bottom. Low harvest yield but also a forage on stubbles and clover for the cows and then grazed short with sheep before drilling. No chem and ’only’ cow muck in autumn. :)
