    Safety & Security.

Nearly there! We made it known we were testing cctv alarm equipment to alert patrols to incidents occurring. The process has been very involved but we should soon be ready to launch our not for profit Community Safety operation. It can benefit the entire rural economy! The launch will...

    Both my quads stolen

TFU (https://farmersunion.co.uk/) been established as a not for profit by a syndicate of retired Police Officers to manage this sort of crime and co-ordinate to keep everyone out of trouble. There are some dangerously silly suggestions being made. Like setting up a trap to catch offenders...

    Both my quads stolen

Not wanting to make things seem worse but had TFU had a presence out and about this theft would have been less likely. We're looking to co-ordinate efforts to have security cars out nationally as a not for profit community interest company (bit like a charity but not). We're not a business and...

The Farmers Union. Another Volunteer Effort.

Two issues, 1 is URGENT. 1 URGENT! At about 1700 hrs on 18 5 19 whilst leaving Wessington, Derbyshire, and driving east on the A615, a group of 6-8 males were seen on foot walking west towards Wessington. All were late teens/early 20s, wore black/dark clothing with one in a grey/black...

Level of Rural Crime - this monthly report makes you think

It's not rocket science but being there is one key to effective community safety. Presence achieves so much. The trouble is that there is very little effective presence. Not the cops' fault, it's bean counters. Help us co-ordinate. Join us. The Farmers Union.

Level of Rural Crime - this monthly report makes you think

This should surprise no one. This is exactly why The Farmers Union has it's syndicate of old cops looking to co-ordinate a response. The traditional response is sadly reducing if only because of the increased demand for service. I have in my possession emails from Staffs Police to the local...

    Community Safety Patrols.

Yes there are volunteer patrols out on an irregular basis reporting on the minor issues which, because they are of reduced interest to the authorities, tend not to be managed. It's these which might form the biggest head ache.

Proof TFU's Crime Reduction Policies Work.

Proof TFU's Crime Reduction Policies Work.

Open the link to see that huge reductions in crime were achieved by my team. The context was semi rural and if these results have been the case once, they can again. And it isn’t difficult! We reduced burglary by 20%, violence by 57% and criminal damage by 59%. This report was the first...

    Policing Does Work.

Shame this happened in the first place. We’d say offending of this type wouldn’t have occurred with TFU patrols in the area to deter. Six children have been arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty after a group were seen throwing stones at sheep in Hampshire. Police are investigating following...

    Community Safety Patrols.

The subject cannot be raised enough. The situation will only get worse despite the senior official types dismissing reality. We're retired so have no qualms about showing what's wrong with the system. One of us completed a contract recently investigating bad cops. At the end of his last day...

    stolen, spotted coalville

Don't want to add salt to the sound but it's vital that enquiries be initiated asap thereby preserving the integrity of evidence. Un-fortunately these days those enquiries are less likely to be carried out by hard pressed Police. A farmer may not have the time nor skill to find that evidence...

https://farmersunion.co.uk/groups/rural-security/ We're a not for profit syndicate of old but not so worn out retired cops reasonably close to you. Stolen International 956 ,, Lincolnshire

But late to ask perhaps but were local enquiries carried out? There is always evidence of you look for it, there is a witness somewhere if someone finds the witness. https://farmersunion.co.uk/groups/rural-security/

    Diesel nicked Taunton

Might be slow in responding but has anyone carried out local enquiries on this? In every case there is evidence, there is a witness but you only find these things if you get out and ask. TFU's Professional Witnesses would have done. https://farmersunion.co.uk/groups/rural-security/
