    Milkrite cluster exchange service

Snap, same situation here. Didn’t get on with pattern ones for my delaval shells so I went milkrite exchange. Much nicer to use and stay on the cows a lot better than the delaval ones. Would never go back. I’m on the non vented ones as my milk meters didn’t like the vented ones so make sure you...

How many collars/peds for heat detection?

Yep, @Beef farmer is probably right it boils down to being tight but I take them off at pd + and put them back on at dry off. Cows are in the race both them times so it doesn’t make another job really. Only use them for heat anyway. Got 80 collars here for 150. Balance seems to be about right

    Best auto footbath

I’ve a cow care one, can’t fault it. Initially I didn’t like the big square bit on the end but it doesn’t effect cow flow. Bear in mind where you are going to place it, I blame my auto bath for stirring up formalin fumes more so than a standard one it replaced.

    Serap tank blister buttons

Anyone else had problems with the blister control buttons on a newish serap tank. I’m on my forth pad in three years. Usually it’s the stop button that fails first. It’s the only one that has caused problems according to my engineer ta
