Just thinking aloud here..
Getting on for spring barley, maybe better off with something else.
Thinking a couple of ton of grain maize off the 10a might be better.
Would be all fed in house to beef.
Can sow it with the combi,
Have small conventional combine header to cut it(if it will do it)...
Rebuilding a engine here, had new pistons
Book spec for stick out is 0.03 to .3mm
These currently stick out .4mm.
Take pistons back out and deck them or use a thicker head gasket from a different variation of same engine?
Have 2 of these mounted to the front of a powerharrow, can anyone help id the leg or the point
Leg is 670mm long x 50 wide x 25 thick
Point is
260x40x16mm ,55mm hole centers
Dimensions of the point are approximate due to wear
Loaded fine,100% at home here, no known issues with it
Driver opened door other end and beast just slumped down dead on floor,
Suspected heart attack most likley
Is it common?
ive never heard of it before
Agent has never seen it either
What happens next?
Where theres livestock theres...
got the true test eziweigh7 here and twice now its wiped its self of all cattle weights stored on it
switches on and weighs the cattle fine then i take the ew7 into the house and plug it in via usb to download the data and its empty, wiped clean
bloody annoying, anyone know why or a workaround?
This thing is like dragging a parachutedriving empty into a decent headwind feels like 4 ton behind, turn round loaded feels lighter🙈
Can tow a 510 horse trailer way easier with its angled front!
Any ideas for the stockbox or pickup?
thinking the ground here would benefit a press of some sort
clay loam over sandstone
ploughs nice then a few days of sun later and it bakes hard
find a press arm for the 122?
front dowdeswell type press?
press arms need a spool to release the press?
Got a field destined for beet in the spring
PH 5.4 currently permanent pasture
Could i plough it ,apply 2t/a,work it in then apply another 1.5t?
I know it's frowned upon on grassland to apply more than 2t in 1 go
What's involved?
I'm completely green to it,usually go with hedge trimmer in flailing class but never get a good bit of hedge🙈🙈
Think I'd have more luck with a plough🤣
parts of my fodder beet is full of charlock
its had 3 sprays of debut and others before but the bloody charlock is thriving over about a third of the crop
is there anything that will tidy it up and save what beet are left ?
bit gutted about it as normally get a reasonable crop but this 1 is...
As above
13.5k hours
40%tyres
Below average wear in the boom
Everything works,a/c,front/rear wash wipes
All lights etc
