We have got a 2014 6150r auto power/ivt at 7000 hours. No transmission problems but the rest of the tractor feels like it’s ready to rattle apart.

Got 18 tractors here from a JD 1640 to a 8r340 and hire a 6215r and 6125m in every summer.

It’s the same as a 7000. The 7500 just has a different circuit board due to chip shortages. Performance wise they are the same.

Probably my JD 8r 340. Only done 360 hours so far but definitely the comfiest place to spend the day.

We have got a brand new 8r and 6m with no DEF delivered to us here in New Zealand this year. You can’t order a 6r with no DEF though unfortunately.

Gutless compared to a 6920s. We had to get our 6150r remapped to 180hp.

Happened in New Zealand too. We only have one company owning all the dealerships in the north island now. Lost our discount on parts too after our dealer got bought out by this company which owns 138 dealerships through out 3 countries.

That’s good to hear. I have a new tractor coming around March that was ordered with a 6000 and was just wondering if I should cancel it and wait for a 7000.

Has anyone here managed to order a Starfire 7000 receiver yet? Or does anyone with insider knowledge know when they will become available?

There is a demand. We ordered jd 8r in Feb this year and we won’t have it till March next year. 10 month wait for jd 6m ordered two weeks ago and 6r bought last year was similar wait. I’m in New Zealand if that makes any difference.

We run a bednar fert box on front links for dry fert. Have a team sprayer tank mounted on tractor for chems like gem,fludio etc… and a little Amistar tank on planter. All gets sprayed on with nozzles just before the closing moulders or discs.
