We're thinking about slatting a shed for sheep, approximately 100ft x 28ft. Plan is to make a 4ft deep tank, two rows of columns going the length of the tank with concrete beams sitting on the columns along the length and so the fibreglass supports go across the width of the tank in 3 spans...
We’re looking for a headstock to fit onto a Kramer 1245 (same as Weidemann 4512) to pick up Kramer attachments.
We will probably have a Euro headstock to sell
We’ve got to take out 6, 15ftx8ftx 10inch shuttered walls. Don’t really want to peck them out incase it’s rattles the shed to bits!
We got a price off a pro to cut them out but think we could do it a lot cheaper ourselves (may regret this 🙈).
Could use a stihl saw but it’ll be to cut from both...
We’ve a couple of hoses split on our lc302 drill where they are clamped to the lid.
Drill hasn’t done a great deal and hoses are in good condition apart from the split (never had to replace a hose on our old Accord drill).
Will we have to replace the full length of hose or could we put a...
We’ve been getting a JCB 804 mini digger and a protec post knocker.
When letting the weight down with the left side of the foot pedal, it’s pumping oil, is there a way to make it single acting? Can’t seem to find a tap on the spool block?
TIA
Wheels: McHale - Round Baler
Category: Wheels Manufacturer: McHale Price: £600 Condition: Used
Description:
Vredestein 500/50-17 floatation wheels off a Mchale baler. Excellent condition, baler just done 8k bales and very little roadwork so I'd guess the tread will be 80%.
They should...
We're looking for a pair of large floatations wheels for the back of our NH TC5060 combine. It's currently on 400/70R20. Looking for a minimum of 500 wide, 550 or 600's ideally. Could go a bit taller as well.
Thanks
On our 415 the spool valves have sometimes started to play up. It's usually just after the tractor has been started, a spool will lock it's self, just the one your trying to use. Sometimes the spool valve error picture will come up on the dashboard, but not always.
To get them to work again...
What are these like?
Never had New Hollands before! Looking at one with the 16/16 gearbox. It will be pulling a 4rev plough, 3 leg flatlift, 9 ton rear discharge spreader and might sometimes have to go on 3m combi. Will the boost be working when ploughing and flatlifting?
Ideally, we would...
We are wanting to gain access to a field across a stream. Don't want to put a bridge across as it will jut into the field. It'll mostly be for livestock but sometimes tractors.
Stream is approx 8ft wide with the banks 3ft high. I was thinking about widening it to help the flow then using...
We are looking for a new bruiser, most likely an electric one as it will fit into our system better.
Any opinions on these? Or any other makes to consider?
We are looking at a New Holland LB110 and Fermec 860 digger. Its just for farm work so being nimble, light on its feet and reliable is more important than digging power etc. Is there much to choose between them? Also the loader on the NH, being a straight boom, doesn't seem to have a lot of...
Just got in from lambing a ewe. She'd been lambing for a while, so put my hand in, feet and head where there, very big lamb, felt like a single, double checked to make sure she was scanned for triplets rather than a single! Got it out, thinking the next 2 would be runts.
Came to the next one...
Bit of a long shot, but I'm looking for a transport kit for a 4m combination harrow. I was going to get one fabricated, but thought I'd ask on here first.
We usually just buy lamb finishing cake to mix with our own barley. Just wondering if it would be much cheaper to formulate our own ration.
Most of the lambs are already well fleshed and will be sold by the end of January. We start feeding them in troughs once a day outside then bring them...
