Hi all,
I have a 2018 Hilux icon which has an annoying fault, the front parking sensors randomly come on. I have searched the internet and not found much on how to turn them off, I have turned the parking sensor button off but this doesn't seem to make any difference. Is there anywhere I can...
Thanks for your kind words, I definitely think it's a control thing as she will stick to a strict regime of what she will and won't eat. The thing is she has such a warped idea of the nutritional value of the food she is eating.
She is exactly the same bright and independent but extremely...
Sadly my eldest daughter is anorexic, seemed to happened all of a sudden however some signs were there we just didn't spot them. As a parent I wouldn't wish it on anyone it's like watching a car crash in slow motion. She is blinkered by her own opinions and what she sees as the ideal figure some...
Evening all,
Not sure if correct place to post but does anyone here feed their dogs skinners field and trial, our dogs have always gone well on it but they gave recently been getting upset stomachs.
I thought it may be something else they gave picked up etc. but I'm now 99% sure it's the food...
That's really interesting, do you have much of the early company records/information anymore I have several friends who have tractors supplied by eastern tractors in their collection
Thanks everyone for your input, after some thought and a look at all the options I have gone for the ranger XLT. Purely came down to financial in the end as the Hilux or Tremor would cost me an extra £55 a month in upgrade extras that to be honest I'm not fussed about. XLT seems a nice truck and...
To be fair I will use it all the time it's far cheaper for me to do this than run a vehicle to work, what it will cost me is less a month than a new one would be on finance or a loan for that matter. plus I get the benefit of having a truck to use at home without actually having to purchase one...
I agree I think the Tremor does look pretty cool, didn't realise the XLT is the new version of the limited. With the Tremor I like the idea of the under guards and beefed up suspension and also the 10 speed auto. I will be doing a fair few road miles so would prefer an auto, the only other auto...
Basically it's seen as a benefit in kind because we can use it outside of work as well, tax man decides what it's worth as a benefit a year take tax off that figure then that's what I pay each month for the privilege 😅 however they tax, insure and repair it and I get a replacement if it breaks...
Evening all not sure if right place to post but here goes!
I'm due a new company truck, we get a choice between Hilux and Ranger, there's a few different variants to choose from but all Ranger or Hilux available to us on the list will cost about the same out of my wages each month. I was set on...
Looks a great restoration a lovely job, if you join a club a lot offer a registration service I'm a member of Ferguson club you don't have to be a member but will cost you a bit more.
DVLA will issue you a vin/serial number I believe and an age related plate for tractor
Yes I have heard the repro ones leave a fair bit to be desired, would be a shame to see you leave Fergie class, I have enjoyed seeing your posts on here over the years.
Evening all,
Got a couple of ploughing matches coming up, it's been a while!! I have a Ferguson 2 furrow plough, I need a new set of plough shares, one of mine has cracked between the bolts, just wondered if anyone has used the agriline reproduction ones didn't know what the quality was like or...
The whole thing has turned in to a confused mess! The guidelines seem to change daily, there is a ferguson club ploughing event in our area apparently still pushing ahead but with the rule of 6 is this OK, are we a sport in government eyes or more of a social gathering? Society of ploughman's...
Definitely an early one with that serial number would of had a z120 continental engine originally. Early tractors all had solid rear and front wheel centres I think up till possibly early 1949. Looks in nice condition would be prime candidate for an oily rag job. Having said that would look good...
If your getting a good spark and it's wired per manual is the carburettor set up correctly? Are you getting too much air in the mix, is it a steady stream of petrol coming out of the tap when open. May be worth double checking fuel system and carburettor settings
I think unfortunately the majority of National trust members have an idealistic view of how they think the countryside should be run which often rubs against commercial agriculture. The kneejerk Reaction of the NT which lets be honest operates to make money is to create an environment that lives...
