With the cost of electricity looking to sky rocket, does anyone have experience of small on farm wind turbines ? Or any usage saving ideas? Our main electric use is running the motors for the milking parlour twice a day and cooling the milk.

Few years ago I had the same, it really irritated my face, to the point it looked as though I had a serious condition! After a process of allimination and several Dr visits, came to the conclusion it was paracetic acid causing it, its in darn near everything!

Hi, i'm concerned about seeing strawy dung still in the some of my feilds earmarked for first cut silage.
I spread it the beginning of April after a very wet winter.
Plan to clamp silage it, any thoughts ideas of how best i could deal with it as its 40 acres out of 90 acres of first cut.

Been running through some tough to read figures from last year. Ive been advised to bring things upto the mark we need to see yields per cow much nearer 8,000L
