Got an answer from a Fendt-rep, and the navigational point is the point at where the implement turns - for the Rapid its the rear wheels. The coupling length is only related to the painting of the map on the screen, could be the coulters, or just use the rear wheels on the Rapid.
Hi,
Have a 3m Vederstad Rapid with no system disc in front of the seed/fert coulters. What i havent been able to get 100% is the navigational point and the coupling length settings for the implement. The "horizontal rotational axis" for the Rapid, is that the rear packer wheels? Or is it the...
Thank you, that worked. Can see the USB now in the Variodoc export-page. But, the implement running Isobus does not see the files - do i have to enable the Fendt terminal to be FS/File server somewhere?
Trying to upgrade my Isobus sprayer through the UT - have my USB-stick in the Fendt terminal, but i cant get the files to show up. Does anyone know what filesystem the stick must be in? Exfat? Fat32? This is a Fendt 516 from 2014.
Hi,
Does anyone here use the Apollo CM40 ECU to implement isobus on older sprayers? It works fine in the field, but i need to be able to spray stationary for a mandatory control. For this it should be able to set a "Smart rate" and virtual speed to spray a set amount stationary, but i cant find...
Want to make more use of RTK this year, and was wondering if i should disc everything but the headland with the carrier, drill it with the rapid, then disc and drill the headland last. Figure that would compact the headland the least, and loose it up at bit before drilling. Anyone do this, or is...
Hi,
Considering the avero 240, and most of them here have the folding c540 header. Cant really find much about it, so to confirm, this header can be removed for storage right? As easy as all the other headertypes? Any thoughts on the 2011 model? Thanks
Hi,
I usually only use a Carrier 3m before drilling with a 3m Rapid. Problem is, i feel even if waiting as long as possible for the soil to dry out, in a system without ploughing, the soil is often still not quite dry enough. I get OK yields, but just wonder if i could do something to avoid...
I never plough, but i guess i could do one pass on the outer edge of the headland to remap with the drill each year. I have only mapped boundary using the tractor without implement before, can you instruct it to use the edge of the implement as the boundary?
