Clive, you appear to have made a success of it, there must be some KPI's or areas that you can say, we are getting better at that or we have gained more consistency in production etc?
Without getting too complicated, i wondered how you are measuring success with your DD/No-till operations. Obviously it is based on the individuals own objectives!

I would leave it to die naturally if the crop is even, most likely there will be nothing ready too early this year to worry you about delays. i know some people who never dessicate and they always have good yields and low losses
Do you have linkage on the drill tractor?, Coveys used to have a 1200L on the drawbar of the 8m Sprinter but moved it to the tractor linkage as the drill was slow to lift. Worth jumping in the car to look at it. It has the adapter plates for moving the pipes further up the legs to drill OSR too...
