People are saying the combi drill will stay straighter if I cultivate the ground at the same angle I drill it. This will mean going with the tramlines and combine wheelings. What are peoples thoughts ? Thanks
Currently finishing Lim x cattle on maize silage, grass silage, brewers grains and 5.5kg of barley/wheat mixture. Beans grow well here and interested in if they would have a place in our finisher ration.
Thanks in advance
Looking at the benefits of feeding fodder beet to our growing cattle (8-14mth) and finishing cattle. Is it worth adding to either of the mixes. And how often can I grow it in the same field?
Thanks in advance

Considering to grow spring barley this year again, and wondering if there’s more feed value of whole cropped it and clamped it? I would feed it to my finishing cattle with around 7kg of rolled barley, I’d add silage maize if required. Anyone else finishing cattle with grain and whole crop ?
Hi. Haven’t finished store lambs on stubble turnips before. Just wondering how many lambs will 20 acres of good stubble turnips finish ? Will trough them with a small bit of milled barley too. Cheers
Got some Costello wheat seed left over from last year that was treated with signal dressing. I planted a field with it 12 days ago and a lot haven’t germinated. Anyone with any experience know if it does affect germination ? Cheers

Going to pre em spray a field of winter barley tomorrow, it was planted last Tuesday and has germinated with small spirts on each grain. Is there a risk I’ll kill the crop or will I be fine.
