NFU claiming credit for 25% SFI cap

NFU don't understand basic anything. They are so far detatched from their supposed membership group that the membership have already left. They exist in a world of their own imagination where they have importance and a say in national policy, a bit like us. :(

urea spreading date cut off fast approaching

This rubbish is the next protest. But it's easier to lie or pretend to comply. Unfortunately the dickheads carry on and impose more petty restrictions for next year. Thereis no scientific basis.

    SFI....FUBAR

They are reasonable but even the TFF peasants could see that the previous regime was open to abuse when it was announced. 1.5% Try and get down to 1.25% Looking at selling an unusual piece of land with a large hole in. Favourite method is a real auction but there's a lack of proper auctioneers in the area. It worked well last time but this is outside their area. Best and final is the lazy option. Looking at...

Sweepstake on straw bale price at xmas sales?

The imperfect storm continues. Little carry over from damp harvest 2023. Autumn cereal drilling spoilt by rain. Autumn crops that were drilled have struggled. Spring cereal seed barely worth planting. SFI or fallow are an option many have embraced, very wholeheartedly. I've no history of...

If it came to a choice between saving a coloured, single mother immigrant from a barn fire or John Craven it wouldn't be a difficult choice. I'm sure the BBC would give him a lovely tribute programme. It's probably already recorded. The urban coloured people I have spoken to through townie...

Then DEFRA will need more staff / parasites for the inevitable inspections to claw money back from the early applications for sfi.
