I'm going to go have a look at a deutz 6120 ttv 2018 model, equipped with full suspension & mx loader. Tractor has 6000 hours.
Anybody have any experience with this model? Anything specific I should perhaps be looking out for on it?

Yep that's the problem right there, must have knocked it when I was replacing my steering pipe under the cab & had all the floor up. Thanks didn't even realize that was there 😂
The rear link arms on my 7840 seem to be stuck at 20% if I lift the leaver the oil flows but nothing happens, they won't go down bellow 20% either, guessing air in the system? Is there a way to bleed the linkage system? (I can lift the arms up to their max by hand)
Nope no turbo, could do with one mind you.
I'm gonna get a test kit & check if it's gone before I start stripping it down just to be sure, odd that it's only when under a heavy load that it overheats at the moment l, I assumed it would overheat even on light work when the head gasket goes?
I've never taken too much notice to be honest but I think it used to run around 3 or 4 on average.
Now it's at 6 bars but that's flat out with mower conditionner on the back, I'm not sure what it used to be when mowing
It's not running hot according to the temperature guage, it's about 6 bars.
I've ordered a new thermostat & new rad cap to try. Looks like the water pump isn't the problem I can see it the small bubbles inside the radiator. Il take the rad put & try a proper clean rather than just blowing it...
For the past couple of weeks my 7840 has been throwing the water out the radiator, doesn't happen on light jobs or roadwork but the second I hook the mower up I get 2 headland passes & it starts throwing it out.
It's full with antifreeze, radiators blown out, I removed the thermostat last...
Well I bought it, It looks to me like it has been well looked after by the previous owner. Seems that vicon thought out the general design, the baler looks simple for maintenance. It's only string no net wrap but that don't bother me.
Certainly an upgrade from the JD550 & hopefully less...
I'm gonna go & look at a Vicon Rv 1601 baler (2001), anything specific I should look out for on them? Looks in really good condition.
They sound like decent balers from what I've read. (I'm upgrading from a JD 550)

Thanks good to know, Yep thats it 2 cylinder engine, plate says it weighs 5 ton empty. I hope its gonna be man enough for a small amount of mucking out once I get it properly serviced. Clock says its just under 5000h, probably gone round.. but certainly seems in good condition, I hope the...
Thats what I originally thought it would be, I would have just put in the same as I use on the tractor multifunction for transmission & hydraulics, but I was reading on a foreign forum as theres very little info on these sambrons & when I translated it they said ep90 for the pump on the right...
I acquired an old 1974 Sambron J24 forklift this week for yard work, seems to have an issue with the drive, it does drive but when you hit a hill it feels like a clutch slipping & just stops (not the engine revs just the drive).
I have yet to the service the hydraulics & hydrostatics so it...
I was going to but my neighbour isn't available to wrap it for me as hes silaging, and the weather here is forecast too wet for it to dry out enough really, since I've got the forage wagon, it seems like the best option even if its just a small pile
