Just spotted a pair of lambs both empty and thin. Think milk has dried up on ewe despite getting a lot of hard feed. Nearly a month old and no foster ewe available, will it be possible to get them.on to a bottle or feeder?

What age do people wean pet lambs? Is it best to gradually reduce the milk or just stop it?

This struck a chord with me. I miss my dad every day but even more so at lambing time. Its just not the same when you can't share the disasters and (occasional) triumphs with your mentor. I hate that he isn't here but keeping the sheep going feels like it keeps some sort of link intact.
