Just finished putting up one from Northern Polytunnels and really pleased with it. One of the reasons I went with Northern was the fact that there was no wood involved and the steel seems fairly robust. There were a couple of bits missing but customer service was excellent and the missing bits...
I regularly read posts but don’t often comment however I just had to with this post. Have read your previous thread in the past and I have nothing but respect and admiration regarding the manner in which you approach each and every challenge you face.
I look forward to reading your new thread...
Thanks for all the advice. Will definitely stick to doing it all manually, especially as the next few fields are much steeper.
Had a few pointers from someone when I started and it certainly helped but always happy to listen and learn. Been a bit trial and error with the headlands, much easier...
Help please
I’m fairly new to agricultural work but keen to learn and try and use the technology available. Been asked to do some ploughing with a JD 6155r and Lemken europal plough. Tractor has d/d gearbox but doesn’t have AMS/RTK (not sure it’s proper name).
Haven’t done much ploughing before...
Suspect we’ll need to put a plant in for our new build but awaiting confirmation. Don’t know much about them but spoke to someone who suggested Biopure, anyone have one or any knowledge of them?
Thanks
Thanks for the link, unfortunately it won't let me order from them as I'm a private individual, will either need to visit local agent or wait for Rogers to return from their holidays.
Still looking for a wiring diagram or photos if anyone can help?
Thanks
I've recently acquired a 1996 Kongskilde K40c diesel space heater which seems to be in reasonable condition although the wiring is a bit of a mess, looks like it's been butchered at some point. It's also missing the safety thermostat and the photocell.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram that an...
Think it may be a different company but just purchased a parts manual from Agrimanuals.com. They were good to deal with and it arrived within a couple of days. It's for a 40 year old machine and although it's a photocopy it's still clear. Maybe not the cheapest but I'm happy.
I have the same compressor and looks like the same problem. Do you have a part number for the capacitor and where did you end up getting it from?
Thanks
Thanks for the replies and advice once again. Sorry no pictures to post of the ploughs and unfortunately I don't have deep pockets for a TS86, if I did it would be the classic, 'all the gear and no idea!'
Thanks
Just an update and a little more advice if possible please.
At the moment I've got the chance of two ploughs to use behind my MF135 although maybe neither is right and I'm better waiting.
The first I mentioned in a previous post is the 2 furrow Ransomes reversible p, it's a TS81 but I can't...
Just wondering if anyone can advise which would be the best Ransomes Plough book to buy. I'm keen to learn about the ploughs and how to identify them so I know what I'm looking at when I go looking for one.
I've seen two books but not sure which is best. The books I've seen are,
Ransomes, Sims...
:scratchhead:All I wanted to do was to have a go at doing some local ploughing matches, I knew the art of ploughing would be a challenge but never thought it could be so difficult to even qualify to get through the field gate!
Guess I can kiss goodbye to any notion of taking part in a ploughing match because changing the tractor isn't an option. Seems crazy that a date can have such an impact but guess there has to be rules.
Thanks anyway.
Andy
Thanks for the quick responses and the advice, all of which leads me to ask ask a few more questions.
Is there an easy way to identify a TS59 plough? I imagime a lot won't have any plate showing model numbers. Also how can you tell if it has TCN boards?
In relation to the question about the cab...
