Just wondering what tube block calvers use. Mostly used Ubero Star but seems dear compared to similar 35-40 day withdrawl tubes. Like Bovaclox extra and Noroclox. Difference in price for 120 tube box is £130 per box comparing Noroclox to uberostar. Is noroclox any good ?
hi has anyone ever fed whole fodder beet to dairy cows not chopped? Choking obvious risk. Was going to put on in middle of grass silage in feed troughs?

Odd one or at least new to me. We put a bore hole in last year with limited success supply's 60% of our needs. We have been here 3 years. An old boy said my neighbours (I have met them once) get their water from a pond natural spring in our hill side right in the middle of my farm. We looked...
What's best? We have usually ploughed and then drilled and have spungy ground next spring and have dragged up weed seeds and buried nutrients. Some one suggested direct drilling as cheaper £23 per acre and can graze earlier. Anyone got experience pros and cons of different ways.
