Yeah I’ve 1988 6211 drum brakes and only 4th and 5th are synchronised. Great little tractor however if buying another zetor id not opt for one with drum brakes

Just curious to know what are the zetor 7340 and 6340 series like in comparison to the older 7745 etc. I know they look pretty similar. Are these series disc brakes? And is there a synchronised gearbox?

I normally just have my tractor in the 540 rpm however when getting it serviced the mechanic put it in the 1000 rpm then I noticed my tipping hydraulics on the link box etc was very fast lol so I put it back to 540. It’s a zetor 7211, what’s normally best!?

If emptying a link box load I find I have to have the revs high and release the clutch fast for a bit of a jerk to empty the load. Is this sore on a clutch?

Yeah Zetors are good for that in fairness for example a 7745, cheap parts etc. However id prefer something a bit newer than a 7745, 7245 etc and the brakes put me off using it as a main farm tractor for lots of transport etc

Yeah going to do that. I bled it out there just so I can move it if it’s in the way. No fuel out of the bleed screw on the primary filter came out but fuel came out on the rest so eventually it bled. Definitely needs sorted before it dies out on me in a bad place..
