River Lugg - Revisited? Another river...

A handy timeline on the lier John Price 1998 Price put rubble against the river bank and was handed a warning. Later that year, he removed around 10 tonnes of gravel from the river without consent and when told he was committing a criminal offence, told officials 'to just forget about it'...

His decisions landed him in jail! He knew exactly where the consequences of his actions may lead. He had many warnings in the past and was fully aware of the required permissions. His problem was is that he thought he was above the law.

I'm not supporting JP. I also believe that just a fine wouldn't have been sufficient either seeing as it didn't deter him the last time one was dished out to him. He knowingly broke the law yet again and had no choice but to plead guilty. A deserved jail sentence.

His actions didnt take into account the law though did they. That's why he is where he is. (His behaviour towards other people and past record didnt help Im sure). This was never about flooding. It was about JP thinking he was above the law. If you are offended by the truth... I'm sorry for you.
