Thanks, Ive a good perimeter fence, its just to strip graze, so not overly worried if its blown over, more worried about losing lambs on it. Might have saved money with poly wire though.
Does anyone use electric netting with lambs.
I had a lamb try to run through it and got tangled up when I was setting up, as ewe was on other side. Was'nt switched on at time, but im wondering is a bad idea for young lambs circa 5 weeks old.
Cheers for the replies...the grounds boggy as hell in one end, where I need to corner brace it, so if I use 7ft (7_8 inch thick) strainers here, driven 3.5 ft down and strain from this end would this work
Im looking to fence a small area less than half an acre for a small number of sheep.
The longest run is 60 meters, so would high tensile sheep mesh be overkill on runs this size.
The ground is soft so would I need to H brace the strainers or again would this be overkill on short runs?
