I've lambed hundreds of mule hoggetts that would have been no more than 45kg when I bought them. Lambed outside with just the spring flush of grass to get them going. Biggest problem is too many twins. I doubt those monsters at the gimmer lamb sales even see a ram in their 1st year.
Likewise, hardly any watery mouth. Keep lambing pens cleaned out and lots of lime. Just mud and wet. Frustrating that it's drying up nicely now and should be looking at lambs skipping but just looking out for the ones that are hobbling. 😟
I don't think anyone has had a good lambing. We are getting joint ill in 3 - 4 week old lambs now. I think they are picking it up outside rather than inside. Lambs seem to have scabby navels. I think it's just the amount of mud they have been running around in since they have been out. Draxin...

Any recommendations/ avoid for a 3 metre machine for a 120 hp tractor. Mainly for barley stubbles to put back into grass, ploughed leys into forage roots and to bust up root stubbles in preparation for spring barley.
