Is anyone using the above successfully with film bound bales? Seems to be a few different machines out there but from looking at video’s all look like they perhaps need the strength of the net binding to work properly? Cheers

Decision on funding and scheme details seem a long way off if you already have planning, add in some crazy price inflation between now and grant approval and the inevitable price hike when “grant” gets mentioned and current quote might seem cheap...
Roll on next season with expensive fertiliser, a meal price rise for summer and an uninspiring milk price, zero grazing will be getting hailed by the great and the good in consultancy circles as the “salvation” of milk producers 😂

Hard to disagree with any of that though the cost of compliance with new regulations (covered slurry storage, nvz and others) will be the next major financial investment for most regardless herd size, whether owned or rented or farming system and will have none or very little payback.
Grass and cake? Or are you feeding some conserved forage?
Cows always seem to milk well and be satisfied on zero grazing this time of year provided weather stays kind
