    Equipment paint

If the paint is cheap it’s cheap for a reason. Low anti corrosion properties and low grade pigments that will fade. Low levels of preparation will accelerate the coating’s failure. It is what it is. CROMADEX offer very good paint systems plus single coat primer top coat products too. Delivery...

    International Harvester 684

Thanks for the replies. I have taken everything off and all the bolts out. The adjustment was seized. Once freed off or replaced it looks like they will go long enough. (Yes the shiny bolt was a bodge that I will sort out 👍)

    International Harvester 684

Just taken it all off and the levelling arm and the lazy arm rod are seized. looks like they can be extended but won't budge. I will heat them up and see if they will undo/extend if not I will treat the old girl to two new rods, unless anyone knows a good secondhand spares dealer?

    International Harvester 684

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well? I laid my old tractor up due to engine issues which I have now resolved. I am still at a loss as to why the linkage won't lower enough. If I lower everything the top arms with the power don't seem to go down enough as per the enclosed picture/reply. If...

    International Harvester 684

Thanks everyone, i am using the correct lever :) I just wondered if the draught made any difference but it doesn't. I have moved the pins around, don't make much difference to be honest. Buttercup

Had them sprayed last week. All dying now. Will top the fields in a few days. Will do them again next year until they are gone. As with things like this the next door fields have them too but he won't spray his, so i guess I will always have them to some degree.

    Buttercup

Excuse me if this is a silly question; but this year our grazing land for horses is absolutely covered in buttercups. Do they stop grass growing? If I topped the unused paddocks would it help in any way? All thoughts and advice is appreciated.(y)

Class Q planning granted on working farm

My understanding of Class Q and have done two is that the buildings need to have been redundant for over 10 years and not in use. Class Q will not get you full PP until the building is converted to residential then you might be able to knock it down and build a new build. I had this which is...

Sparse hay fields - Leave or Top?

I see some people Harrow when grass is at seed point. Not sure if it makes any difference. I don’t bother seems a waste of diesel to me. Yield seems to be constant harrowed or not. happy to hear others views.
