This is Kuhn's version of the Sabre Tine,. the same as Weaving but with a fixed seed tube.

We do offer a 13mm tip option (current Sabre tine Leg 12mm), however, due to the working angle of our tips soil does not tend to be thrown and flows around the tip a bit like a speed boat going through water compared to a tug boat.
Yes. With this version and most of the tines like this you have to change the whole thing. Waste!
BTT do something call a Replaceable Tip Tine - RTT. With this you only change the worn out tip! Saving money.

Also drill sales guys never seem to talk to the farmer about the different options available and the pros and cons of each system. They just tick the default Dutch option.
Tine, Tip (2 options 13mm or 19mm) and securing Nut and Bolt. £127 approx. One Tip will out last 3 standard tines. The tine will last 3 tip changes. Hope this makes sense.
