Hi All
There must be plenty of you out there will experience of these machines. I would like any comments you have on them and any alternatives and why I should consider any of these instead. Please.
Hi Guys, I am looking to buy my own fert spreader after using a contractor for a number of years. I want section control, variable rate and all that kind of stuff so I believe it has to be hydraulic drive.
Is there a front runner make and model or anyone to avoid?
Hi All
Just had a deluge of rain go through the grain store again . It gets under the roller shutter door. I was thinking of putting a line of those bolt down speed ramps in front of the door to divert the water to the drain on the corner of the shed.
Would it work? Anyone know who stocks...
Where can I get one of those Laserstrike or similar bird scarers from at a reasonable price? Bought a supposedly high powered one of the internet but it's unreliable and eats batteries!
Hi All
Has anyone used or still using a tine drill on light land such as the KV Evo and the like?
My question on these machines is - can you get even depth of seed from every row? Or does the front rows of seed get extra soil on top of them from the back rows?
Hi All
Does anyone use one of these as their one and only drill? I know a lot were sold in 2012 when it was really wet and the Vads and Horschs wouldn't go! Will they do a good enough job on fairly light, stoney land and do they take much pulling?
Has anyone experience with these brushes ( like a huge sweeping brush not rotary ones)?
Do they do a good job in the store and also cleaning up the yard?
Is there any difference in makes?
Is there a sprayer control box in the marketplace that will do auto shut off 16 sections, control the headland assist feature automatically, and read ISOXML files for variable rate liquid N applications? Oh and be user friendly!!!
Hi All
Has anyone any experience with these things as sold by Portek and Spaldings? How do geese know when it's 1st feb? I never have any trouble until its out of season time and then about 300 descend on a field that's a bit too near the village and footpaths to do anything except discourage...
Hi all, been wondering about having a hydraulic top link. Are they good or do they cause lots of bother, ie moving when you don't want them to, harder to connect to implement and move on tractor pins etc. Whats your advice?
Hi
I am thinking I need to upgrade to a smart phone soon. The problem is firstly, Apple or Android?
Secondly, I have a Samsung phone which is reasonably tough and waterproof, so what is recommended as a similar "tough" phone?
Thirdly 3G or 4G? I confess I don't understand the difference!
I put my phone through the tractor radios for hands free. If I leave the tractor or switch off, then the connection is cut and you have to remember to reset it. To eliminate the first problem I leave the phone in the cab but that's no good if I break me leg getting off the tractor! Is there a...
Hi, I have a Trimble 500 that works the auto boom shutoff on my sprayer. The receiver is mounted in the middle of the sprayer but I think it might be better over the boom. It is a trailed sprayer with steering back axle and I believe that the steering fools the Trimble. I want to know if I get a...
Does anyone have good experiences with any of the big multinational machinery companies when it comes to sorting out problems with their equipment? I get the impression that some of them are wielding a big stick and customers and dealers alike are given a "take it or leave us" attitude. This...
I am looking into RTK steering and am not sure which system to go for (mast or simcard). Mobile phone coverage never seems good enough all over the farm, do you have to pay double if you have two simcards? Do signals from masts have black spots?
