I’m not sold on them myself but thought it worth sharing. Some of my spanners managed to grow legs and walk during the autumn so am on the look out for a set as it seems better value to buy a full set than replace what’s missing. Likely end up with Teng or perhaps Halfords professional, I really...

Started with one of these.
Cut a hole, added some hinges and finally found a use for a spanner made of cheese
Test firing
Definitely helped with removing the paint.
Removed the rest of the paint and cut off some unnecessary bits
Finished !
No new materials harmed in the making of this.
The above are good units and they are helpful on the phone. If you get the correct unit you can just plug it into spools and let it filter as you use the machine.
I’ll have a look see if I can find the prices
Majority seem to be Narvik or Momento with some being unbranded. Vast majority are standard 6 sided with some deep mixed in.
I’m working through them to list on eBay and will update the list with prices etc when I get through them.
They will obviously be cheaper on here than ebay
Impact Sockets for sale individually.
No prices as yet as I still working though these, some new some used. New will be at least 1/2 price and used will be around 1/3.
Any interest drop me a message and I'll come back with a price and photos of the individual socket.
Metric Sockets...
Proper factory clearance seem to be handled by a few big auction houses. One was less than 10 mins from Wilson’s but yet was handled by a specialist firm.
One good thing in a proper clearance is the machines tend to be genuine. Watch the fees tho as they can be a bit high and I have seen a...
Farmflix seems to be generating a big following and from the bits I’ve seen on YouTube seems to be well made. I think they have a big back catalogue so should be plenty to watch
Finally got around to making a stand for my Mag Drill, vice has a small Anvil at the back which fits on a taper so made this to slide in on the taper. So far so it’s working a charm.
You are quite right, I’ve just been out to check and the current tyres are
420/85 r34 (16.9 r34)
320/85 x r24 (12.4 r24)
Would I be right in thinking I could fit a set of 38 and 28 as long as the ratio is kept the same? So maybe easier to move up a size as well as wider ?
I’ve been keeping an eye out for a sharpening machine and came across the above on eBay. Should be a good wee machine once a motor is fitted, im not sure how big a drill it will sharpen. If I was closer I’d likely take a chance on it but shipping to N Ireland makes it a little pricey.
I’ve yet to come across a job that I’ve needed them for so they are gathering dust at the moment. I’m not sure quite how many acme taps I have as there are multiples of some sizes. At a guess somewhere around 40 acme taps.
The lot I bought contained somewhere over a thousand taps in total but...
They came to me with a job lot of tooling I bought when I factory I was in closed down. It’s was a common thread for drive sleeves etc but I suppose in most industries it’s a bit of an odd ball
I’ve quite a few acme taps so if you work out what thread it is I could drop one in the post you make a new nut and send it back when done or could come to an agreement to sell it.
