Skippy Scout: Anyone used it or is planning to use it?

Hummingbird offer a service where you pay per hectare whereas we give the decision to the farmer. By having a drone and the software themselves they don't have to wait for the service to be completed if they need quick analysis. Also hummingbird do high level analysis whereas we do leaf level...

Skippy Scout: Anyone used it or is planning to use it?

Thanks very much for the answer! A lot of our users do still crop walk but for example they will set the drone off in the field next to them whilst they are walking the field they are in. so it just speeds up the process. I do understand your point however and I am very grateful for the real...

Skippy Scout: Anyone used it or is planning to use it?

It is, as can be seen with amazons drone delivery service and other big projects that have gone underway. However as you and I both know legislation doesn't like to move quickly. So could be this year or could take a few.

absolutely! they are the lowest risk drone you can buy! full of failsafe's and tech to mitigate the risks of flying. also they are small and compact meaning in the case of a malfunction they shouldn't cause much damage. we will see how things change over the coming years however!

Skippy Scout: Anyone used it or is planning to use it?

You buy the drone and the subscription to the software and then it flies itself to the designated points you pick. It analyses different stuff depending on crop type but broadly it will give you: GAI readings, plant counts at early stages, pest damage, unhealthy crop. in other words it shows...

Skippy Scout: Anyone used it or is planning to use it?

Skippy scout is a software platform which is an app on your phone. It uses a drone to scout your fields and gives you analysis back in the form of a PDF document. All automated so you don't have to fly yourself
