I should be getting more than 16mph what can cause this

Bit of an update there was a split wire stoping power shift engaging wire sorted getting 15.7 mph at 2490 revs , but when I press the powershift button the speed drops to 13.5mph no more but does sound more revy

Could it be that the power shift is stuck in the tortoise position

It’s got a power shift button lights on the hate you press it and tortoise lights up but biting really changes

Done it’s 13.2mph

So what I’ve done please don’t shout if im Wrong is adjust the throttle stop point to where it’s revs are at 2600 on dash when peddle fully down It is now a lot less noisey and bearable in cab but top speed has really dropped its does 13.5mph flat out

I mean what should it rev to flat out on the road

Yeah there’s this one shows 20mph

so revs should be 2400 and max sped should be 19.5 mph any one know how to fix this

Yeah 2500 rph sounds right to me, there is a screw to stop the throttle and other ideas How to stop the over revs

Hi all I got a 94 case 4230 and it’s hellish load in cab , just checking my revs and top speed revs go to 3440 and my max speed is 21.4mph is this correct when towing unloaded grain trailer is get 18.4mph
