    Loosing RTK mid afternoon

Currently having the same issue with topcon rtk ntrip on our sprayer.. the last 2 afternoons its lost rtk at around 3 to 4 pm. Worked fine all day upto then. Never seems to come back till the next day! Bloody annoying as we don't tramline with the drill anymore and get the sprayer to do it on...

Transferring from topcon to ag leader

Hi, apologies for bringing up an old thread. Interested to know how you got on transferring from topcon to agleader? It's something we are thinking of doing in the future, all of our field boundaries and tramlines are on topcon x35 rtk and was wondering if they will still be exactly in the...

Opico Air 16/Hatzenbichler grass seed problems

Radar driven with the electronic control box. Seemed to calibrate fine in the yard, have changed seed roller to the larger one and also took out tin plate in the hopper as it says in the book to remove it for light seeds. Agitator is working. The rubber seal on the lid is a bit damaged. Would...

Opico Air 16/Hatzenbichler grass seed problems

Been trying to sow grass seed areas with opico air 16 on a set of 12m rolls. Usually only used for slug pellets and avadex and has always been problem free. Grass seed though it is hugely under applying to what its calibrated for. Possibly bridging in the hopper? How do others get on with these...

Does a sprinter drill beans as standard?

Looks as though that is the back plate with the rubber strip for the metering system, I think all the proper bean one does is bring the rubber strip slightly further away from the seed roller so there is less resistance on it. We dont bother with it on our sprinters, just keep the normal one in...

    Horsch sprinter 6st wheel size.

Does anyone know what year the sprinter st changed from the smaller 15inch 4ply tyres? We have got a 2010 one with these on and it goes so much better in the wet than our 2018 st on the larger 10ply tyres. So much so that the 2018 drill has had to park up but the other drill can still carry on...

Pentair Hypro Duo React nozzle bodies

Apologies for bringing up and old thread... We have got hypro duo react nozzle bodies, new a year ago with the sprayer. What maintenance should we be doing to them?, I've heard people say about lubricating the piston in them? How often does this need to be done? I'm guessing ours will have the...

    Your current weather.

We were right on the edge of it at Folkingham, dont think it got over the a52. Heard reports of 10mm around Bourne. Frustrating that it's so localized and no more rain on the forecast for quite some time.

    Horsch sprinter seed rollers

We have a 2011 new to us 6m sprinter. It only came with 2 metering rollers... the honey coloured 500 (Which has been fine for wheat barley and beans) and a rape roller. We now are wanting to drill some linseed-mustard cover crop and need to find out which roller will be best to order. I'm fairly...

Field boundaries from X35 to C3000, is it possible...?

I've tried doing this from our sprayer on x35 to drill tractor on c3000 and like you the field boundaries do not show up. I did ask the question with someone at topcon and seem to remember them say its because the 2 systems save them as a different format.

Horsch Sprinter - wings losing down pressure

All sorted now thanks. Guage is ok, just seems to take quite a long while after unfolding for the pressure to rise. Folded wings back up a few inches then re pressurizing them seems to do the trick. Had a go at some drilling but a bit too sticky on the rear tyres.

Horsch Sprinter - wings losing down pressure

What is the correct way of building up pressure in the wings on these drills? New to us 6m st has recently arrived but the pressure guage seems stuck on zero. Folding the wings down and keeping the hydraulics pressurized doesn't seem to do anything.

    Getting concerned

Also can't believe the amount of people who seem to have been drilling this week looking on here. In our part of Lincolnshire no drilling has been done around here since the end of October, with only a very small acreage done. We have wheat drilled early October which is up and looks well...
