Some sad tales there and thankfully now noted for posterity. There have been family and friends in the past served and anecdotes to share, how thankful we all should be for their service.
An old foreman flew bombers during the second world war, one night his hair turned grey overnight in his...
Late to this thread but if any of you out there have any loved ones in hospital DO not trust the hospital staff to look out for your loved ones during the hours of darkness. I cannot say too much about our experience [ ongoing ] except to say, the staff on call during the day were between OK...
I still use a telescopic Quicke loader, although these days I rarely need to telescope it out. If you type Quicke 3360 loader into google it should come up with some pictures for you, to give an idea of what they look like. To get extra lift for round and square bales I bought a Faucheux...

The spool I was referring to is separate from the spool valves found at the rear of your tractor. On my old tractor, if I recall correctly, the four wheel drive system is activated hydraulically. On pressing the four wheel drive [electric] switch this causes the "spool" to move within its own...
Perhaps not relevant to you but I had the same problem with a Case IH tractor 56 series. Upon removing the solenoid and under close inspection we could just see the faint outline of a thin electrical wire, this was earthing out and causing the tractor to stay in four wheel drive permanently...
Apologies, don't really understand your question. Quicke loaders of that time generally either had US brackets or system E brackets. A 2300 either US or E would lift the same. If you have some Quicke brackets that fit a John Deere 2130 presumably US then this should fit a 2300E, hope this helps.
Try www.agrimanuals.com look in Hay and Forage Equipment manuals, page 2 towards the bottom of the page. There is both an owners manual and a service manual Angus.
Hello Classishay, my wife and I would be interested in rehoming your collie. We lost our collie a few years ago and have not replaced her. Feel free to message me if your interested, Angus.
This might be the most pertinent thread ever posted on TFF. For those who have not alread viewed, have a look @Goweresque post about David Starkeys' video. Yes it is long, some thirty odd minutes, but it
is stimulating and questioning.
Been thinking about this for a while and believe I need to...
After reading your post again I see you have an old 2230 loader. From an old brochure I quote," System E .These loaders are coupled to the mounting bracket system that ALO developed in 1958. Consequently, if you have an old tractor with QUICKE mounting brackets the new QUICKE system E loaders...
