I have just checked two brand new 12 volt car batteries and the date appears to read 19/03; actually having just checked it states" Recharge date 19/03. Therefore they would be somewhat older. Is this acceptable, I do not think so.
I have a Lidl battery charger which indicates the batterys...
I have just taken on a field that is quite weedy in places, particularly ragwort. Would anyone be able to recommend a herbicide that is effective against ragwort. Some plants are beginning to get taller, i. e. not at the rosette stage, thanks Angus.
I have broke and lost one of the four tines that grab and hold bales on my bale stacker. Would anyone know where to source a replacement? Thanks Angus.
Would any one have a wheel off of a Marshall MS85 / 90 muckspreader. The size is 16.5 x 70-18 ply six stud wheel. I am given to understand that it is a Russian aircraft type wheel and tyre. with a blocky tread. Thanks, Angus.
We had a mishap with our old muck spreader, the wheel rim rotted out causing the tyre to go bang whilst travelling along a road. Thankfully no one was hurt. I have sourced some old replacement wheels which are alright but these do not follow the tractor in anything but flat dry ground, unlike...
I know its an ancient thing, but does anyone have an owners manual for a Kidd Clipper 200 disc mower? I believe it is an old Kuhn mower with a conditioner added on, thanks in advance, Angus.
Our oil fired boiler is leaking water out of the front . It will not ignite, infact it trips the electrics. It is leaking through the burner assembly. I cannot get hold of our engineer, could anyone advise on (a) the possible problem, prognosis, and (b) a reliable engineer in the South Devon...
For some while I have been having night time visitors. Does anyone have any recommendations for no glow wildlife cameras. I would like to find out who it is without letting them know they are under surveillance, Angus.
Can anyone tell me why our Prime Minister, tonight has said, quote," the sceptics said it couldn't be done and they were totally wrong. This deal allows us to maximise all the opportunities of brexit, from free ports to free trade deals, err, from cutting VAT on tampons, to banning the...
Which is better?
We are looking to feed some straw to some suckler cows to help make our supply of hay last longer. Is it better to use a natural source of protein in the molasses or to use urea.
What level of protein should we be looking at? The cattle could be supplemented with either...

Would anyone have an axle off a Marshall MS85 muck spreader? I had a little incident today, a wheel came off. This has caused damage to the axle which will need replacing. We are in Devon, thanks Angus
Looking at second hand bale wrappers and would like to know what to look for? What wears and what is reliable? I would like a remote control one as on my own. I only have about six hundred to do, contractors never available locally.
I am currently doing some maintenance work on my old barrel muckspreader. I have always used 110 volt kit, as they were always used on building sites in the 80's. I have a young son who likes to help out and want to make sure that things are as safe as possible for him should he choose to help...
Hello all, I am trying to remove the water pump from an International 785, I have removed the radiator. To get to the pump, how is the fan and pulley etc... removed? Will I need any special tools? TIA Angus.
Does anyone know what the engine oil pressure should be for this tractor? I had it checked with the engine warm, not hot and it read 28 p.s.i. at tickover 670 r.p.m. and 70 p.s.i. at 2000 r.p.m. The tractor will require a new clutch very shortly and is leaking oil past the rear engine oil seal...
