I’ve got a New Holland T6020 2wd on a saddle tank sprayer set up. Tractor was bought new in 2011. Really gutsy tractor, loads of power. Sits on 54” wheels and does 37kph. Steep fields are no problem for it as there’s usually plenty grip in the tramline.
I have both stocks and bullock spreaders. The stocks are ok but the actuators can get clogged up and don’t close when using sluxxs. The bullock spreader will spread any pellet and always opens and closes which is what’s needed.
You can get a NH T6.180 2wd but it’s for the American market. We used to buy US specced tractors for here so would need to ask your dealer. would think it would be available over all the T6 range for the US. There’s a video on YouTube about it.
I have five Scorgie sprayers. Two 28m and three 24m. Very tough booms and now does auto shutoff. Sold a set of booms last year that where over 35 years old that did god knows how many acres of tatties over the years and were it pretty good order considering that. Not the cheapest but probably...
