Am thinking 2 panels attached to a 24v DC immersion. That does away with the need for inverters etc. it will not...

    Solar to pre heat water

What is simplest/cheapest way to pre heat water with PV solar. I am thinking there must be a way to connect a certain number?? Of panels to an immersion and then use 240v immersion to heat it fully up. I see 12v and 24v immersion available. So if a tank had 2 immersions one for each. Do you...

    London fireworks

I did not stay up to watch the new year. But as an Irish person I would always tune in to watch the London celebration. It is always amazing and a great spectacle. You should be very proud and I think it does far more for your tourism brand than it costs to put on. There is always more sensible...

    Dissolving urea

Does not dissolve with out agitation. I sometimes have 3 tanks to mix. What I would do there is put the pump in 1 for 20 or 30 minutes then move it to the other and so on. And then leave it in first one over night. That initial mix gets things going. Then next day the mix is probably half...

    Lemken solitaire 8

Went to look at a lemken solitaire 8 seed drill grain and fert drill. 3m with lemeken drill. Good bit of rust on the metering wheels for the fert. It's a 10 year old drill. Which is about as far as my budget will go. Is this too bad or normal for a machine of this vintage.
