Doubt brackets will fit, and it's not safe / legal to modify mounting brackets from different models of tractors. Even brackets from a 4wd could be different to a 2wd. You need to find correct fit. It will be very hard to get them on that age of tractor. Sorry to be a downer.

If the fuel is more than a month old, dump it. And replace it with new E5 fuel only. Don't forget to drain carb as well Had a customer in this morning, Honda mower not starting, I drained fuel tank and carb. Fresh E5 fuel it started second pull.

Try reducing pressure to about 10psi on all wheels and drive around a bit. Not fast, tyres might center themselves on rims at the low pressure. Them put them at 18 rears. 22 fronts. Then try it on road and see results.

Put the rear at 18 and front at 22. And try it. I only have my rear at 22 for stability when I've got the hedge cutter on tractor, and that weights over 2 ton. And 18 rest of year. even with the post driver it's ok at 18 psi and that is about 2.2 ton.

Bigger the tyre the less pressure you need for a given load, as the tractor is so light you don't need high pressures. Tyres need a bulge in walls to operate properly. And adjust according to whatever is attached to tractor.. I think rule of thumb is 3 thead bars on ground with given load. Less...

As usual the "experts" making rules know f all about the countryside. Bring back August cutting hedges , hard annual cutting every year, cut in dry weather, no mess on fields, as it used to be for yrs. Plenty of birds about then as now.

Always let engine warm up before loading engine, idle engine for about 2-3 minutes before stopping. And oil /filter changed every 250 hrs on tractors, and never longer than 5000 miles on road vehicles. I'm not going to change my routine any time soon. Never needed a turbo, yet.🤞🤞

That's what happens. The gears get confused. Light doesn't match gear.and you have to start again. It's quicker to do it slower.

That's how you're supposed to change range. I've had 3000,6200 series tractors, never rush the range change, if you do the tractor locks the gearstick to stop damage to gears.
