    Revystar XE

Apparently BASF finally have a new fungicide coming to the table this spring. Works really hard which is good to know, any comments @An Gof ?? Care, Simplicity and Confidence, sounds awesome plus less reliant on perfect weather conditions which is handy.....

    Fibrophos

Does anybody know whether you can store Fibrophos in a grain store, well in an empty bay? Would this fall foul of ACCS? Or could you store it safely and clean out for next harvest? If a lorry was tipped would it be a problem for stored grain in an adjacent bay?

Row crops or not on 30m plus boom widths?

Just wondered what the general thinking is on bothering with row crops when moving to wider boom widths, whether self propelled or trailed? How do the obvious benefits regarding traction and weight distribution of taller wider tyres stack up against more crop damage and greener tramlines in say...

    Lexion yield meters/osr

What calibration factors are people using on their Lexion 760/770 combines?? Seem to have lost some of mine and can't remember what the setting was for OSR?? I know the only accurate way is to use a weigh bridge, but not yield mapping so a rough guide is fine!

Vaderstad Rexius twin with system disc

Looking for a machine to do a shallow pass on rape/bean stubble ahead of strip drilling with a Mzuri to reduce slug pressure. In the past when we ran a rexius twin in a plough and min-till based situation we never purchased any slug pellets. Trying to decide whether a converted Rexius would...

    Spring Bean Gross Margin

Not grown any spring beans for at least 8 years, so my handle on the crop is somewhat rusty. Thinking ahead to next years cropping plans and budgets and thinking that maybe less rape and having some pulses in the rotation would be a good thing. There would be no farm saved seed obviously, so...

    Claas Lexion yield mapping

I am sure this has been discussed on here before but after an update please. Are folk using the Claas system with say a third party rtk radio input or are folk using a separate system all together, if so can these third party systems link into the Claas yield monitor and moisture metre system...

    Claas 3d sieves

Currently on our forth Lexion Montana, but considering changing to a tracked machine, the last two a 570 and a 750 have had 3d sieves as well as Montana. The question is how well do the larger hybrids cope with just 3d sieves on slopes given their capacity. Reason for possible change is due to...

    Claas header trailers

Considering changing from a 7.5m vario to a 9m vario cutter bar on a Lexion 750/760, access to several fields is tight plus drops off lanes/humps etc. I understand that the 9m cutterbar now comes on a double axle trailer with a bogey. Been a while since i have used such a trailer, probs last...

    Class 700 rape settings

Just interested to know what set up folks are using to get the best out of rotary lexions in rape, typically run at 550 drum wide open, 500 rotors, 900 fan, top sieve 12-10mm and bottom 5mm, both bomb doors shut. Always find it hard when the crop is very dry, well desiccated to glean any...
