Shorne herd had around 30 in Market Drayton last Monday which made between 800 to 950 , very good strong pedigree bulling heifers .

We bought his brother Whinnow Presley in 2019 , cracking bull , has bred some really nice heifers , who are due to calve this summer .

Looks like I’ve lost the use of my tractor for a while, one of our workmen is chairmen of the local round table so we always try to do our bit by donating them a tractor for their annual Santa run.

I’m thinking of grooving some of our yards , what concrete grooving to people have and how successful is it .

After leaving County in the summer after 7 years of supplying them , the first 3 years very good and the last 4 totally soul destroying, I would sell up before I would sell milk to them , always the promise of jam tomorrow but it never materialised

There was an old stone track there that we layed the sleepers on , we have put the sleepers closer to the hedge and we will move the fence further in , but we are on with third cut at the moment and needed to get the cows down there today .

Renovating an old stone track that was put in when the M6 motorway was built , and laying concrete sleepers so that we can get cows to more grazing easier.
