I have an old crawler I want to re spray. Lots of daft bits to do on it. May put the bonnet and other panels out to a professional but want to do the rest my self. Wheres best to get a decent spray gun and what should I be looking for?
We have wifi in the house but the size of the house and the thickness of walls makes it hard to get it around. It comes in from the office from a dish to a node in the house. How do we get it around the house more reliably? I don’t have a great understanding of WiFi so please use small simple words.
We have a 12t trailer we put a dump body on. Due to some over zealous loading when moving soil this summer we destroyed one of the rams when it went though the trailer bottom and bent. Where would good place to go for a 3 stage ram? We usually just go to a hydraulic shop and get one remade but...
Just looking to swap our 6m harrow for an 8m. Kuhn, Maschio and Alpego are the options. Does anyone run one or have any experience of them? Just after some users views, they all have their differences. We’ve a;ways had Kuhn but they are 28 rotors compared to 32. Kuhn has the clod board on the...
Does anyone run a Bateman with a JD screen and controller? Just want some idea of where a few settings need to be. Mainly the look ahead settings.

Our L70 has an oil leak from the rear axle where the drive shaft goes in. We’ve stripped the drive shaft off and removed the circlip. We can’t get the large nut undone for some reason. Has anyone down one of these before? Don’t want to over do it and damage something.
We use chain and load binders to tie down kit on the low loader. The spring clips on the hooks keep getting bent and snapped off, this renders them unsatisfactory or illegal. Can you get hooks with out the clips that would be correct to use? Also could we use ratchet straps Instead? Obviously...
We have a William Foster threshing machine that has been stored well. It is in reasonable order apart from the wheels. It is occupying space and needs to go before someone does something rash with it. If anyone is interested please get in touch. Ideally looking for somewhere it may be...
I have an amarok, and generally have two terriers occupying the cabin with me. Whilst this is all very nice it does mean it is not the cleanest of places. Does anyone have a way of containing dogs in the cabin other than small cages? And no they won’t go in the back 🙄
I’m just in the process of making up some grills to go over the drain on a wash bay. I intend to get them galvanised but it’s been along time since I’ve had any to do. There’s no hollow section involved, it’s all flat and angle. How clean does it need to be and do I need to mark the pieces?
We have been in a stewardship agreement (an old HLS and ELS scheme) for the last 10 years. That came to an end and was extended for one more year which we are now in. They have now offered to extend it for another 10 years. Has anyone else got this situation? Not sure really what’s best to do...
We have a Volvo L70H that has come to the end of warrenty. The only issues it has had are with the ad blue system. Could it be deleted? Who would be the best for doing such a job?

My boys have decided it’s time to move on and clear space for the next stage. Random collection of things, odd bit of wear and tear but generally good for a few more seasons of farming. £250
located in East Yorkshire. East of Hull.
Evening,
looking for a 3d printer to start learning with. Ideally something that’s reliable and relatively future proof. I don’t have any particular thing to make but looks like it may be useful. Could anyone with some experience recommen one and anything else to consider please
Evening,
I’m looking for a digging bucket and a grading/rehandling bucket for a 14t Volvo 360. Where is the best place to look? All the second hand ones I see are pretty tired so may have to get new.
Just wondering what people are charging for a 14t 360 for basic digging work? Seemed to be £25-30 for ages but now seems to be around £40. What are others charging or being charged?
Morning,
currently we use rodenticides for rat and mouse control on the farm and complete the necessary paperwork for red tractor etc. If we were to do our rat control through methods other than poison would we have to complete records?? We use a few rat traps from New Zealand that are gas...
We need to put something in to get through until January/march. It will be ahead of spring barley and also peas. Last year we did oats and phacelia. Seemed to work ok but wondering if we just simplify things and put some oats or rye in. We have both on the heap. Also not sure what seed rate to...
We have had a 17 year old helping this harvest. I have tried to keep his hours down a bit from the others and give time off more regularly. When it came to do the pay run I was told that under 18 can only work a 40 hour week. Is this right or is it a mix interpretation of the laws/rules?
Thank you
