Just out of interest, is the CX7080 much wider/longer than a CX5090 or are they much the same size? What sort of output difference is there between the two in terms of acres would you say?
The police dogs were up there again on Friday they are going to search the nearest wood again apparently, All the locals have been great going out in big search parties, really hope he's found soon safe and sound!
You're very lucky by the sounds of it, good job someone was there with you otherwise it could have been a different story. I've always been told to never work with a bull alone and always have at least two of you there when working with them, however I know that's not always possible.
Yeah, I'll slowly get my confidence back and not go rushing straight back into it all, it's shook me big time, I'm just glad I didn't hurt anyone else. It's been an experience I'll never forget, but I'll learn from it and make sure it doesn't happen again
I've deleted it as wouldn't want to get anyone in trouble, it's my bosses tractor but not he's trailer, we are sub-contracted in for a big farm using my bosses tractor but using there trailers to haul the seed. He said to me that lads that have accidents before there car insurance has been fine...
Won't go into to much detail but today I had an accident in the bosses tractor resulting in it being a write off(we think) he's took all my details as he will need to say I was the one driving, he said it won't affect my car insurance or NCB it'll only affect his insurance, I'm 17 and insurance...
Heard a lot of good stuff about case, I've also heard if buying a js130 you want to go 2010 or above as the build quality is significantly better but can't say myself only things I've heard off other people
Makes me wonder if I'm getting underpaid. 17, drivers license, telehandler ticket, feed all stock in the morning and do a lot of tractor work from cultivations to corn carting etc and do fair bit of maintenance on the kit and general farm work and on £4 an hour. I'd say around £20 a day that's...
Take plenty of food and drink with you if it's going to be a late one, water will do, no need for red bull. Take your rubbish out after you and don't make a mess. Don't have your beacons going when in the field. I know it's been mentioned a few times but make sure you don't open the tail gate...
But I'm only young so don't really know if there of any value in later life, try your hardest though but enjoy your last years in school, I've only been gone a year and it was easiest years of my life, enjoy it and try your best
I left school last year and came out with reasonable grades. All c's and one b, I didn't really try as much preferred being out on the farm etc but at the same time kept one ear open so done ok but could've done a lot better if I put effort into it. I've found that GCSE's only help you in your...
Last few weeks have been the same ,hauling muck and in the workshop getting kit ready for the spring
Had a few straw deliveries yesterday so unloaded and stacked them and now I'm just itching to get out spreading and ploughing and seeing people on here cracking on doesn't help either drying up...
