I've about 8 metres of wire netting and top wire to be strung.
There's a square post in the middle, (concreted in).
As it's such a short length there won't be much strain on it.
If I do it in 1 length of fencing it means a 90 degree turn for the wires around the post.
Can I do it with 1...
My ATV was stolen last night.
2016 green Honda 4x
The wiring underneath to the rear lights has been torn apart by high foliage
Left rear tail light lens taped up
Only done about 500 hours
Essex area
True. It charges at about 8 miles per hour. (Kia)
However buried in the depths of the manual it says not to charge from an ordinary socket when the battery is nearly full as it can overcharge
I've had one or two deliveries/pick-ups per week to my farm address for the last 3 weeks. The problem is it's nothing to do with me. The goods appear to be car parts.
Today I had another van arrive to pick up a package. The driver gave me the contact phone number, so I rang it. The chap didn't...
Is it possible to buy a wifi camera that can be temporarily put on the back of a trailer to aid reversing?
I find trying to see where the livestock trailer is going when it is turning away from the driver's side, pretty impossible
Thanks
We have a biomass boiler for heating and hot water which has a 2,500 litre buffer tank - a sort of thermal store. The panels cannot heat this tank.
I realise a battery system will be ineffective in the winter, but in the summer the solar panels produce plenty of hot water and most of the power...
I have an Immersun and run appliances in the middle of the day. Even so on a summer's day the hot water tank is soon hot and then most goes to the grid
I've a domestic 4 kw solar panel system. In summer I can't use a lot of the electricity and it goes to the grid.
What are the options and recommendations for a battery storage system?
Is there anything new in the battery storage pipeline worth waiting for?
I'm thinking it would also make...
Thanks guys, I've completed the form and wait to hear their approval, (Or disapproval).
I spoke to the installer and the boiler distributer and used log specification EN 14961-5 as stated on my MCS Compliance Certificate
I'm trying to fill out the form for Woodsure but I'm stumped on 2 items -
1. What is the log specification the boiler requires?
Note: As defined on the emissions certificate or operating manual of the boiler
(I don't have an Emission Certificate and my operating manual only says, 'Split logs...
Yeah, I'm coming to that conclusion too.
If the grass is getting too long, shut it up for hay, or pre-empt that by rotating the sheep faster.
I like the idea of 'som farmer' using an aerator to push stems into the ground after grazing, though I would prefer to leave the tractor parked in the...
I had plenty of grass this year, (Hay height) and I set up tight electric fences for my ewes and lambs so that they ate a third, trampled a third and left a third. I moved them once a day.
It worked really well for the grass - the regrowth of the herbal leys was fantastic.
Unfortunately it...
I needed a smart battery charger so went on Ebay where there are many to choose from.
I want to support British or European engineering, not Chinese, so I spend some time searching for a British one.
Some Chinese ads. are easy to spot as they have a Chinese address, others are more subtle, as...
The problem is that my insurer, LV, won't insure trailers for business use. Business use for the pick-up is no problem, but it is for the trailer.
Thanks for all the replies, you've given me a few options.
I've having trouble insuring a livestock trailer and a general purpose trailer.
My broker won't answer the phone.
NFU will only insure trailers if the vehicle towing is insured with them. (3 x current premium)
All trailer insurers who answer their phone won't insure for business use
Can...
Thanks, rollestonpark
With the info. you gave I phoned a couple of companies and discussed the matter.
I'll probably go for a Zappi from myenergi

I've 4 kw solar panels producing domestic power and integrated with an Immersun unit to feed the immersion heater.
I'm buying an electric car, and Immersun state that my current Immersun unit is not suitable to automatically provide solar power to the electric car.
There latest model is okay...
