Absolutely, blocks are only out for 8 weeks to help utilise old pp at tupping. All Te supplied by bolus/injection. At usage rates could argue the licks aren't necessary, but at around £1.40/had not really worth cutting out
Yeah that's what I was wondering, I get through,on average one pallet of rumenco max, download supalyix type this year costing around £1000/t. Often have enough left for triplets at lambing,in fact still have two left from last year.
At 0.2l per day they will be using over one ibc per week so...
Still got ewes in flock but not using tups anymore. Yes lowther have done a lot of planting. Good friends are tenants and between them and U.U they are on a mission.

Best of luck with it, we couldn't get away with bolus for iodine, never enough. My mistake as well we use flexidine now, not depodine.same stuff just cheaper and a slightly higher dose
We found it about 8 yrs ago and got our vet to get it, now they get quite a bit in for others, you do need a vet cert. though, how many are you going to be doing?
Sorry to stick my nose in, but we were in same position with iodine deficiency, we now use mayo cobalt master and inject depodine, Blood test ewes 11 months after treatment and all levels are still good. Its only way we could sort our iodine problem
