Yea sounds like a good idea. I'm thinking I'll just check for any play as bearings are almost the same price as discs and Coulter's put together.
I seen a drill for sale that had the discs and Coulter's replaced but not the bearings and that had done around 4000 hectares. Had double Coulter's...
Would I be rite in thinking that if we push or pull on the boom it would pressurise the ram? Old mate at work is thinking if we leave it attached and pull from the back the ram will extend itself enough so we can see where the leak is but I have a feeling it would have a pressure relief type...
I'll rehash this thread again and ask what do you do when the nut on the end of the ram turns with the ram???
Doing a 2016 tf38.7 II and what a pain in the behind the wiring loom is, the attachment sensor unplugged but the connections for the man cage attachment have no plug so we've had to...
You guys do bearings at the same time? We have an older rd300c with the bearings that you grease but our newer rda400 has the non greasing type and we're about to do the first set of discs and Coulter's on it so would like to get a few opinions as to how long the bearings actually last
It has...
We had a spare IV screen that was used for a vt that we put in a t7. 210 that had a intelliview 3, all the tractor info had to be input into the screen by laptop not a plug and play.
Not sure if the rapid has that function as yet, only the headland and halfdrill shutoff by way of mapping. Do you use gps for task control? How do you find it?
What engine rpm do you set to? Does it loose fan speed when lifting/lowering the drill as well? Not sure on jd's but normally the steering circuit is separate and a lot less flow than rear scvs so wouldn't have thought it would affect your scv flow if you had plenty of oil flow (high rpm). May...
Found what looks to be a drain on the motor and a similar looking plug on the side of pump, thanks for that. Yea the level was full when it was first delivered and slowly got down to halfway between the full and low marks over say 600 hours but hasn't gone down any further after 2000 hours
Anyone changed the hydrostatic oil in these? The book says to do it every 1500 hours but then in the how to section it says replace brake pads! And check with local dealer ?♂️
I also had oil coming out the transmission overflow bottle on a long road trip once but hasn't done it since.
Nice handy work! The one I made was toast by the time I got the nut off, local dealership was nice enough to let me borrow the factory made socket. The cone that holds the front bearing flogged out on ours, had to get that and the housing, bearings and everything else were fine.
Hahaha had NH for years and would have to agree with these new ones. Personally i would stick with JD or go Valtra if the dealerships are good, forget fendt.
Yea agreed never buy the first of a new model! It makes it very hard to stick with the brand though. Gone are the days where you buy a new machine to replace an old unreliable one.
Yea we have 2 pc's and demoed a couple of ac's can't really justify the extra cost and I seem to be seeing a few ac's with transmission problems and rebuilds at 4-6k hours. Which one have you found to be more reliable? I suppose a lot of it comes down to the work it's doing.
I used a normal 8gb usb for mine and went from version 3.14 I think it was to the latest version. Have section control module so not sure about the in work selection but will have a look. Biggest advantage from updating was the night feature so I can dim the screen and actually see where I'm...
