    As its my second attempt if they refuse it will have to go to appeal. I have already addressed the issues but the planning officer won't accept that their agricultural consultant is wrong.

    Planning officer has just emailed me to say they are going to turn down my application for a dwelling on the farm. The bit I can't understand is that he wants me to withdraw my application before he makes it official, why?

    My application to rebuild old farm house was turned down, the developers half a mile away was granted. Identical applications except mine was for a modest farm house in the farm yard and theirs was for a mansion.

    I tried highways dept, waiting for reply. I have messaged the developer, waiting for reply. It is the only way into the field. Apparently the complex is nearly all sold. It's been an interesting development to watch, at the moment they are taking the sewage tank out as it is 2 feet too high.

    It is a public road that was recently resurfaced by the council. The developers have removed all the grass verge leaving a drop off the road. In places there are holes 3 feet deep on the edge of the lane.

    I have got 336 in the shed. It's a great little drill let down by some poor metal work. I thought about welding the frame up a few years ago but didn't bother, you have made me feel guilty. May need to get the welder fired up.
