Any more thoughts on this? I spoke to two agents, one said worth getting an agent & one don't bother at this stage.(he didn't think you would negotiate any more out of them). I'm against the over ground scheme so not minded to take the cash & sign the license. Have you signed?
Looking for a bit of help please. If S.Beet lost 1% sugar eg 15.5% to 14.5% in the Clamp what does that equate to in £/ton ? (Using Beet at £40/ton)
And is it the same figure if Beet loses 1% sugar above 16% eg 17.5% to 16.5%?
In a year that keeps on giving, I'm now finding quite a lot of Take-all in first wheats, predominantly on the secondary tillers but some areas where all the plants are affected. This is March drilled Belepi after V. Peas. Anyone else got similar or am I the 'chosen one'!
Yes, I left the Volunteer's from the 2019 harvest. It was never my intention, it is a field that has been in no-till for 4 years. I intended to direct wheat into the OSR stuble but due to the autumn conditions this never happened so I have stuck with a 2nd osr crop.
The demand is the never there with the new season nitrogen price, you are buying it for next year. The question is have the sellers made it an attractive enough proposition to use your storage & price it up 9 months before you need it??

Happy to send other photos if required.
