    Take-all in first wheat.

In a year that keeps on giving, I'm now finding quite a lot of Take-all in first wheats, predominantly on the secondary tillers but some areas where all the plants are affected. This is March drilled Belepi after V. Peas. Anyone else got similar or am I the 'chosen one'!

    Rope Bangers

Anyone else had problems with these bangers?? Seem to get to the 1st zip tie and burn out. Out of the last 4 boxes 90% have failed to burn all the way to the top. Never had any problems when using the 'Magnum' version, which are unfortunately no longer available.

    Tramlines in Wheat.

Just thinking about drilling, is there any down side to not putting tramlines in? Just marking out with GPS on the sprayer. (the rolls currently don't fit into tramlines). Do you get more greens in the wheelings come harvest? We could still tramline the headlands to make spraying those easier...

    Options for 16 year olds.

Afternoon All, Just looking for any options really for a practically minded school leaver this summer. We have looked at various Ag colleges but they all seemed to be based around a similar course only really occupying them for 3 days a week plus potentially a day a week on work placement. Do...

    Pressure Washer

I'm not sure if it exists, a hot pressure washer where the temp can be altered from cold to hot and everything in between, and also the flow rate from trickle to full blast. I'm sure the collective masses will not let me down. Any links appreciated. Cheers.

    Cover Crop after OSR

Please go easy on the new boy. I have a 30ac field which is currently growing OSR, it will have to go into a spring cereal due to my lack of ability to control the BG. It had both Kerb and Crawler applied but still a lot of BG escaped and growing under the canopy. I realise that I am a total...

    Flail Mowers

We're in the market for a fresh flail mower, mostly for farm tracks and outsides of fields. Quite like the look of the offset type which work behind or at the side of the tractor. Such as the KRM Super Pellicano or Maschio Giraffona. There seems plenty to chose from. Anyone used these type of...
