Happy with that for outdoor lambing, a third of flock being shearlings. Most of empty have late raddle marks on so a few may appear at the end if the ewes are not sold.
Cull ewe price, Likely to increase going into winter?? Have a lot been shifted with people short of grass? I have quite a few, got the grass just deciding when to send them???
Don’t have to fill up hay very often, if the place is full of sheep it’s a twice a week job, or each time a batch get kicked out fill that section, far easier that going round each pen every day I find.
Buckets normally high enough not for Lambs to mess about, just a loop of string so easy to...
Hay rack pull stock netting along the back of the pens and just stuff with hay. Also if you putting up enough pens run 2 lots of it through the middle and back 2 pens onto it, saves a middle hurdle at the same time, got some pictures from last year. Fill with hay once, job done.
The field they are in has a section of electric, ewes were on electric in winter, And once the lambs have settled after weaning i plan to put them on it so hopefully yes they are good on it.
Ewes will be split into £55 and £65 groups, with the ewelambs £70-£75 depending how well grown they are...
Selling my welsh ewes, and the cheviot cross ewelambs they have.

Includes my hill flock.
Happy with that
Adding to your experiment, i have a few breed of ewelambs, nz tex x nc mule, lleyn x white face mule, and white mules. About 100 of each breed. I spoken to you about that so add in all our thoughts next year!
Nothing for the first 7 days. Then orange a week, red a week, then blue until rams come out. Most should be in the 3 weeks so blue just picks up the tail enders.
If your still looking I have plenty for sale. Texel and Suffolk mule ewelambs, and the store Lambs. Not enough welsh mules yet to sell any this year. Message me if your interested.
