I have broken up a concrete slab, it’s clean material, and I need to get rid of it. Perfect to go through a concrete crusher. I don’t want to bury on farm, and I have no current need for any aggregate.
what’s the going £ rate for disposal ? Or is it likely somebody would take it to crush for...
I have a NH 8340 which has a slight leak from the fuel injection pump - the location is hi-lighted outlined in red in the piccy - what is this part? - it appears to be held in by a circlip and is weeping diesel - is there a seal behind there ? Any advice / assistance would be very much appreciated
So today I have replaced a Donut drive coupling - however on the replacement there is a steel outer band around the outside edge - please see piccies.
What’s its purpose ? And do I remove this now the donut is fitted ? or is it meant to stay in place ? the original donut didn’t have this...
Might be of interest - If you are in the Towy, Teifi and Upper Wye river catchments you can hire a weed wiper for free for three days between April and October.

We have a Mconnell Rhino Jungle Buster, the oil seal has gone at the bottom of the gear box - oil dripping down the chains.
Does anyone know how easy a replacement seal is to fit - I suspect it may be easier to change the gearbox ?
I am also considering draining out the EP90 gear oil and...
We have a 14.8 ton 360, the hose on the boom burst, so on the recommendation of a friend I contacted a local mobile hose repair Service who visited us with a van, he was on site for 20 to 25 minutes.
The repair comprised of a short 0.7m length of 3/4” hose, 2 fittings - a 90 degree flange...
i would be grateful for some advice on this please.
I have a New Holland 8340 which has sprung a fuel leak from the pump of the bottom. I think it's a Lucas Cav. There is a round disc at the bottom of the pump with what looks to be a pressed on rim which is seeping fuel.
I have attached a...
i am looking for a cheap 20 Ton (ish) Workshop Press.
It will be used very infrequently and used for mainly fabrication - cold forming steel, straightening / repairs and replacing PTO shaft spicer cross bearings.
I have no need for anything madly priced and have seen on eBay and Amazon 20...
we have a farm drive around 1/4 mile long. The first 200 yards suffers from bad potholes in the Tarmac. The base is solid - the pot holes are fairly deep - 3 to 4"
Can I just Concrete the holes ? It would be far simpler than messing around with tar....
I know it would work - but for how long -...
How does everyone deal with a grease gun - I am sick of ending up being covered in grease and wearing the slimey stuff which then transfers to other items of clothing and the interior of tractor cabs.
The problem always seems to occur when changing cartridges - I end up covered, the gun ends up...
I need to move 4 full and 1/2 full IBC's - I don't have pallet forks. Is it possible to lift these with straps under the pallet without the straps crushing the tanks ? - some are on plastic pallets.
Many thanks :)
I have found several of these in the fields where I have ewes on tack, does anyone know what they are please?
They are around 2" long and are quite heavy, but appear to be plastic type material, and appear to be starting to dissolve or degrade. Are they some sort of Bollus - I have never come...
Probably a really dumb question, I use a topper by going round the field 3 or 4 times and then cutting in lands.
I have an in-line 9ft, and only lift the mower on tight acute turns, but leave her down on anything less than a right angle turn. The handbook doesn't give any advice, plus I have...
as per title - what go you use for grazing only.
I am currently using just Nitram as per what we were taught in Ag college 32 years ago.
We use a compound for silage - but what is the general consensus for grazing only.
It's grazing only and all the muck us going straight back in so there...
would anybody be able to tell me if these colours are the same please - it seems to me that they are and that Ken Wootton trailers painted them in classic Fordson Colours. This trailer seems to be painted in Fordson Blue and Fordson Orange - can anybody confirm please ?
if you were the John Deere driver with a black forend loader and towing a red lime spreader on the A41 yesterday 15th March - Chester to Whitchurch to Market Drayton.
You sir are an ignorant and complete & utter fool.
You held up the traffic for probabky 10 to 15 miles, with a tailback of...
I would be grateful for input here please. Dare I ask this after the other fencing thread :)
I have quite a few hundred metres of fencing to do. I used to do my own fencing but for this I am going to get a professional contractor in - and pay by the metre....
When I did my own fencing...
We are going to put up a new general purpose implement shed.
We have been thinking of Farmplus - see the design on piccy. Does anyone have any experience of Farmplus - or can you recommend an alternative and also trusted manufacturer.
I would prefer manufacture and erect all inclusive by one...
